Player Plot Time

Hi there, Animus, this is Kelsey, player of Mondo, Lambdadelta, Vergil, Waver and Kyrie. This plot is brought to you by Mondo, of all people.

So, back in September a gang leader and a yakuza lieutenant talked about getting a group together to fight some NPCs. This was with the intent of letting off steam, but also gathering some information.

By now Mondo's pretty pissed. He's had to watch his friends being killed and altered completely, and he's even been the cause of one death. The bastards even got rid of Majima. So he's decided to go through with the original plan in the old man's honour.


On Sunday and Monday (the 2nd and the 3rd) there will be signs up around the tower, they say nothing more than:
"Looking for strong people
floor 32
Tuesday 4th
1pm"
Those who show up will be told of the plan and invited to join. So, what is the plan? Get as many strong people together to go fight the standard NPCs with colourless collars and demand to know what's going on.

On Wednesday the 5th this is how things will actually go down:
The group will seek out standard NPCs as planned and kill as many as possible. Then the retrieval units will come, which will in turn kill those who've killed too many NPCs. Those who sign up should expect character death. It's possible to get around it if their character doesn't manage to attack many of the NPCs, but in general, most involved will most likely die. As the colourless collared NPCs are nothing but drones, there will be no information gained from this. However, if there's a particularly large group, mods have said the admin in charge will likely step in in some way. Who knows what that means? Only Mel and Cee, don't ask me.

Thursday the 6th is also designated as a day for this event, as the characters who die will be coming back the next day. What exactly happens on Thursday will be determined by how Wednesday goes, Mondo may call another meeting, the admin may respond, we'll see.

Then it would be just that. If they choose not to fight, he's not going to stop them. The signs have little information in hopes that admins and npcs will think it's something like a fight between them and not pay attention, but those who show up and don't agree with the intent are free to go. There'll be a log, so if she wants to voice her displeasure, go for it!

Excellent. I wasn't sure if there was going to be a log for the meeting or not. Granted, it's not as if Alter will be saying much, but she will find it dishonorable.

Can characters who don't sign up participate in this? Alternatively, is there a deadline on sign ups?

The sign-ups are mostly to keep track of things so the mods know how many are involved, and for ease of everyone, really. So I'm not going to give it a deadline, but after the 6th it will be sort of pointless to comment to it. If someone's missed this post or was on hiatus until around when it ends but wants to get in it and backdate, etc. then there's nothing wrong with that! It just helps to know for the most part.

In other words, I don't see a reason that people shouldn't be able to participate if they haven't signed up, but it's best if you do.

You're definitely welcome to backdate if you want! There's also nothing wrong with signing up but not tagging into it in the end, or coming in without signing up, whatever works for you!

Yes, you got it exactly! And no problem at all about the timezone, I'll try to put it up right around midnight EST so everyone has plenty of time with it - and who doesn't like to backtag anyway, right?

A'kin hates fighting and has basically no desire to be in a combat situation if he can avoid it, but he would be interested enough by the posters to show up and potentially offer some minor magical support for whoever is brave or foolish enough to get in on this.


...and he may also be interested in trying to remotely observe when everything goes down. Would you be alright with him attempting to scry Mondo during the attack?
