Event: Tower of Fatorum; Part Three
And now the games begin. All information on gameplay will be in this post, although some sections will not be updated until the appropriate time.
Little Finger Information
Anyone participating in this game will be compelled to travel to the dorm rooms, where they will fall asleep. No one will be able to wake them up, and they will begin to dream. There will be six rounds; the first one involving six fingers, the second five, the third four, the fourth three, the fifth two, and the final round only one to be found. Each time the setting will change slightly. Twenty-one characters may survive this event.
There will be a mingle and search subthread for each round. The mingle round will be for interaction with other characters in a way that does not involve a moderator response. Characters who post to the search subthread must state where their character is looking; a moderator will inform them what they find, if anything. Your character may find things other than fingers. Normally these things will not be dangerous unless the character is careless or provokes attack needlessly. More detailed information on each round will be found in the log here. Information on each round will be added as the different rounds begin.
If your character finds a finger and is turning it in to the old woman, please reply to this thread. A moderator will reply informing you when your character wakes up.
Ghost Watching Information
At 10PM on the 18th, anyone participating in the ghost watching game will be gathered by a red-collared retrieval unit. Anyone who resists will be knocked unconscious and dragged along by force; anyone not participating in the game who resists on behalf of another character will be knocked unconscious and left where they are. All participants will be gathered in the elevator, upon which they will travel down to a floor that appears to be the lawn of a small house. A retrieval unit will explain the game to them: that they must go into the house and walk through the house clockwise, opening every window one by one. They must then turn around and close every window one by one counter-clockwise before leaving the house. They are told not to disturb anything else. They will travel through the house in the following groups:
There will be a general mingle thread and a thread for each group; the mingle thread will be used for interaction between anyone participating who is waiting on the lawn before, during, and after various groups' turns, while the other threads will be group-only, as each group goes in one at a time, starting with group one. Each group member must be involved in a thread in at least three locations in the house (provided they don't get dragged off earlier, of course), but they may reply to more locations if they wish. While characters are encouraged to stay with their group, there is nothing keeping them from separating and looking around the house by themselves. The log will take place here.
If your character is taken away by spirits, please reply to the thread here and a moderator will reply explaining what they may remember of their captivity. They are not required to remember--if you wish, they may forget all of their time in captivity.
Bath Game Information
At 8PM on the 19th, anyone participating in the bath game will be gathered by a red-collared retrieval unit. Anyone who resists will be knocked unconscious and dragged along by force; anyone not participating in the game who resists on behalf of another character will be knocked unconscious and left where they are. They will be taken into the elevator, which will descend and open up into a large washroom with a series of shower stalls. A retrieval unit will present or read the note that explains the ritual.
The character must complete the ritual, after which they will be allowed to return to the Tower and go about their business as normal. Their ghost will now be following them. A moderator will inform the players how close the ghost is to their characters; players may NPC their own ghosts.
