Romeo will be cut out of the tentacle-thing on Wednesday, June 27. He will be injected with a drug that will render him powerless and paralyzed, except in that he can speak. He will be able to feel the surgery, but will not feel pain from it. His surgery will be performed by Jin. His brain will be transferred into a rocking horse.

Romeo will recover enough to interact within five hours. He will be able to move about by rocking hard enough, and will no longer feel hunger or exhaustion. He is free to move about the pod, but even thinking of rebellion will lead to his being strapped to a hospital bed.
