If the Shadow event can't get my motivation going, nothing will. So, rather than keep ignoring tags and CR, I'm just going to bite the bullet here and take advantage of the general chaos and morass to send Tara home for good. With school and hopefully a job soon to come in the mix, Animus is just too much for me to keep up with right now. If I could stay, I would, because you guys are awesome, but it doesn't look like it's in the cards. I'm sorry for all the plans I'm undoing here, but I'm sure you'll be able to muddle along without me.

Thank you, everyone - you're an awesome game, and I've always felt welcome here. I've met some amazing players here and had some amazing threads, especially for a character that was brand new to me at the start. If anyone would like to keep in touch, my personal journal will still be listed on the contact page for a bit. Still no plurk for me.

On September 17, certain residents of the Tower will wake up in the body of someone else. They will have access to any abilities the body they swapped into has, as is often usual with this sort of thing. But by the end of the day, they'll find bits and pieces of memories from the original owner of the body leaking into their consciousness.

And then the side effects will begin, growing worse and more horrifying until it threatens to kill everyone in the wrong body. The Tower residents had better figure out how to swap back soon: there will be no automatic switchback, and if those in the Tower do not figure out how to switch back themselves, everyone who has swapped will die.

These, of course, are the sign ups! Swaps are one-to-one: there will be no groups of three or more swapping bodies. You are allowed to select your own partner for this, but we encourage random selection to make things especially chaotic. Please reply to the appropriate thread in this post in order to sign up for random selection. You may also use this post for plotting if you wish.
