Father's Day
Alright, I'm largely back from my unannounced hiatus to slowatus. Uni, making my new rp, managing another rp, and preparing for the written driver's test take a lot out of you, you know. That's beside the point.
Let me remind you good folks that Sunday is Father's Day. While normally a time for people and characters to appreciate their fathers, Nyarly sees the day as an opportunity to feed off of the Tower's growing negativity. The Crawling Chaos will be disguising as people's fathers on Sunday. Or at least, antagonistic versions of them. The definition of antagonistic will change on a case by case basis.
I'll put up a normal post up by Sunday when this will take place. I need from you, though, if you'd like to participate, a short description of the way your characters perceive their fathers. Doesn't have to be too long. A paragraph at most. It'll help me when I have Nyarly use his shapeshifting powers to take their forms and identity. That, and I can prepare icons ahead of time.
Alright, is anyone interested?

Only vaguely remembers his parents - headcanon has that his father had dark blue hair (darker than Minato's but not as dark as Ryoji's). He was a nice guy, if a bit quiet and serious. Kind of imagine an older Minato with an even dryer sense of humor? If that's even possible lkadjsf.
Naoya:
lmao oh spoilers. [Obviously we're going with Adam rather than Protag's uncle (or father), I assume. Naoya remembers Adam as an innocent, stupid man - one who was too childlike, unready for a son when Cain was born. He always loved Abel more, as did everyone. And when Cain killed Abel, and was clearly horrified at it and at his punishment? He offered no help, no aid, cast him out just as God did. In short, an idiotic, childlike fool who spurned him when he needed help the most.]

John's dad looks like this, though of course with eyes and a mouth. John has the usual gripes about his 'uncool' father and some of his weirder interests (such as clowns and harlequins), and bemoans the many presents and homemade pastries Dad gives him on a regular basis. But John really does love him very much, and considers him a good father. Dad is one of two people John will admit as being a better prankster than he (the other one is his grandmother), so he has a fair degree of respect for that too.

don't mind me just being drive-by silly
use the protagonist of the very first shin megami tensei gameno subject
Hm, I think I know how to go about with this. The form Nyarlathotep is currently taking is Jun's dad after the boy wished he was cooler. Let's say that was the wish that had a part in destroying the world ten years later.
Still, though, I think I can manage after looking through maybe Homestuck's wiki.

as of right now- Yukio has no idea about satan besides the fact that he is a very bad guy and that he would probably enjoy seeing both of his sons to loose control and accept their demonic heritage.
Here is the wiki:

So this guy will be wandering around the Tower. orz
And this is Yuffie's dad. He's kind of a dick. Wants Yuffie to respect tradition (AKA be quiet and do what he says), but I think deep down he's proud of Yuffie fighting back against ShinRa.

Sora's "adopted" by a man he thinks is both the greatest and most terrifying person EVAR. Said man is a Heartless--a creature that feeds upon the hearts of others. He has destroyed worlds, making Sora's fear and awe pretty justified. Ansem, meanwhile, is a puppeteer. Sora has suppressed the memories, but he is aware that Ansem is using him. And this is something he won't do well with--Sora has major abandonment issues--seeing as the lie he was fed was that his own parents abandoned him.
Oh. Sora was five at the time, too.

The tiniest wiki article for him ever.
There is, sadly, no in-game/canon appearance for Bleck's father. Someone on Deviantart drew their idea of his father though, if you want the link to that.

Rin looks up to Father Fujimoto. He and his twin brother Yukio were raised by the priest, and while his brother was a perfect child, Rin was not. In turn, Rin did his best to show that he was just a good a son. He wanted to be a respectable person, to grow up into someone Fujimoto could be proud of. He wanted this especially because he knew Fujimoto believed in him. As such, he'll does what he can to live according to the words of the late priest. If asked personal daddy questions like "didja love him?", he'll get all defensive.

I suppose a more antagonistic Glemy would be pretty much cliche evil/super dark, forcing her to try and kill, and put a lot of stress on her already fragile mind.

Here is some information As it says there, it is already a very difficult subject for Suzaku. His father is the cause of a lot of his original guilt issues (Suzaku was only ten when he killed him...) A antagonistic Genbu would be angry, blaming Suzaku for what he did etc
I think I tl;dr'd....
So! The closest thing Kuja has to a parental figure is this douchebag!
Garland is an old guy who was in charge of Terra, a dying planet, who was trying to absorb the healthy planet of Gaia. Terra is filled with soulless people called Genomes, who are meant as vessels for the sleeping souls of Terra to eventually inhabit once Terra is revived. For this, Garland needed to create war on Gaia to shift a fucktonne of souls. Kuja was a Genome who happened to have a very strong will, which sucked as a vessel but was gr8 as an instrument of war!
So Kuja has a soul and is unique in that way, but Garland is a dick and decided to make a better Genome to take over the job. That would be Zidane. Kuja naturally wasn't too keen on this, so he chucked baby Zidane onto Gaia. Garland, in retaliation, permabanned Kuja onto Gaia until the job was done.
Oh and the whole time Garland threatened to either kill Kuja or take away his soul. And always kept saying how Zidane was superior in every way. Dad of the year right there. Even when Kuja finally reached his goals and cliffpunted him, Garland came back from the dead just to say "hey kuja everything you did was futile.", prompting Kuja's Despair Event Horizon.
So you know, neglect, emotional abuse, threats of violence, all sorts of fun things.

For two, while Rox has no dad or dad-like figures
that he remembers, Jay has a...a mentorship whaever I don't know with Solon. I'm just unsure if he'd have paternal feelings for him as opposed to.You know.
Childhood trauma.
