Hellooooo, Animus! Your friendly neighborhood Zelda player here to get the official word out about current resistance dealings.


For those unaware, way back in January, three characters sent letters to Dax (rest in peace :'|) asking how they could help with his efforts to restore the worlds and send everyone home. These characters were [OU] Zelda (sageprincess), [OU] Tohko Amano (tohko_amano), and [AU1] Enoch (warriorscribe). Of course, we all know how Dax going up directly against Ruana turned out, and all hope seemed lost.

But wait! Dax apparently had planned for this, and had letters sent out to those three characters in the event of his death. In these letters, he mentioned that he had hidden a cache of information about the Tower away in the administrator levels, and requested that the recipients of the letters retrieve it when they were able.

The three characters gathered a few of their most trusted friends and allies, made plans, and eventually broke into the admin levels after Jason called in the worker units for emergency examination. There they met R-037, a modified retrieval unit that displays far more empathy than any other encountered. They learned that R-037 is in charge of a sort of internal resistance, re-processing retrieval and worker units into allies for Dax's cause. After grilling R-037 with questions (protags, man), the group began traversing an illusionary maze made to protect what Dax had hidden. Following an unfortunate incident with a hellhound, they found Dax's room, and upon his bed was a box and a note. Having been told not to open the box lest they be compromised (and considering the brainwashing event, what a legitimate concern that was), the group returned the box to R-037 and came back up to the residential levels, agreeing to keep their adventures quiet until the right moment.

That moment came on May 1st, when Zelda found that very box in her mailbox. Finally with permission to open it, she found yet another letter from Dax inside along with hundreds of microchips. The letter details a mission to place those microchips around the Tower without being noticed, saying the result will be obvious at the end of the month.

AND THAT'S THE STORY SO FAR.

Initially, Zelda has contacted about twenty or so people for this task, which includes:

Aaand she would have contacted Guy Cecil (relinquishing) but he was on vacation in his dead homeworld. :'|

This is not to say this mission is limited to these characters! Far from it. If one of these characters comes up to Zelda saying "hey I trust so-and-so with this and they don't mind the danger," she won't object. So we can get CR of CR of CR in on this if they're considered trustworthy. That's what this post is for, in essence: keeping track of who's getting involved and when/where/with whom.

I only have two requests of CR of CR. One, please respond to this post with the character who will be getting involved and who of Zelda's initial contacts recommended them. Two, please respond to this post with where your character will be placing microchips. Please note that Zelda will tell them not to place any on floors staffed by worker units! This is all for record keeping purposes - feel free to handwave or play out as many chip placements as you like. Additionally, feel free to handwave your character meeting with Zelda to get involved/pick up chips if they are not among her initial contacts. She will be hanging around in the bathrooms in the mornings (odd days as Sheik in the men's, even days as herself in the women's) to hand out chips, if you'd like to know where your character would find her.

Oh and regarding the recordkeeping: Don't worry about multiple chips being placed on one floor or in one dorm room. The more the better and we essentially have an infinite number of chips OOCly. So don't worry too much about it!

Basically as soon as Guy gives him a way to get involved Asch will jump in with both feet and probably start picking up the really dangerous floors because he's kind of an idiot that way

As soon as Guy tells Luke about it, he'll be involved as well. He'll probably hit up the floors he frequents (Meadow, Media, the two forest floors, and the cafeteria) in addition to his own dorm room, if no one else has done those already. Beyond that, he'll take on whatever floors people point him toward.

Diarmuid will be glad to help with this. While he knows several people on the list, most likely it will be Tohko who tells him since she told him about Dax's letter in the first place, and he already was planning on talking to her this month to see how things are going with the resistance. It is also possible Saber herself might say something to him.

Since he has been routinely patrolling the whole tower once (if not twice) a day since late Jan, he could pretty much put something on any floor you guys would need him to and have it look like he's just doing his usual patrolling. I'll post that over to the master list and see where you want to go with it from there!

Yu is getting Naoto Shirogane (detecting), Yosuke Hanamura (princeofjunes), Yukiko Amagi (slightlyoblivious), and Rise Kujikawa (idol_support) with Kanji Tatsumi (get_bent) likely getting involved/being a distraction 5ever.

Sob I will try to tag our thread back soon but Xion is going to suggest OU Sora (derping), and Yu and Riku again, and after a bit of teetering OU Sheba (seekinganswers), and Shion (savedbyasong). Also possibly some more later in the month but I'll note it if/when it happens.

And definitely later once he catches her at it she'll recommend Ira/OU Repliku (acceptedoblivion).

Enoch had dragged castmate Lucifel (brbtalkingtogod) in from the very start, and will probably get his other castmate Raphael (godheals) in on it if the mun accepts it.

Also he may invite a few others that have slipped my mind? He'll probably wind up in a position to tell them ICly before I think of it, consciously, knowing me.

Problem is he's wary of spreading this information and risking it getting out, so...that's probably it, others will likely be incidental. Good thing he shares a lot of his CR base with Tohko at this point!
