Lancer will hear whispering as he walks through the carnival. At first, it's easy to ignore, but it gets louder and louder as time goes on, until it seems as if he's surrounded by whispering children. It's impossible to tell what they're talking about, but whatever discussion is going on, it sounds frantic and nervous.

Eventually, however, the whispering fades away.
