Hello, Animus! I'm Elizabeth, or just E, and I'll be playing L from Death Note. I'm very excited to get started here! (Although I'll have to poke around for a bit to get him oriented in terms of the event....) He's in 2-02 with an orange collar.

About L: I know DN was pretty popular a few years back, but I still run across a lot of people in RP who aren't aware of who L is, so here's a brief rundown. L is an intensely secretive and successful detective who does a lot of work (mostly via computer, phone, and carefully-selected intermediaries) for various national and international police agencies. His reputation among the public is nonexistent at the start of the story, but in law enforcement circles, there's no one more formidable. He specializes in otherwise-unsolvable cases and is picky about what he will and won't investigate.

That said, he's a reclusive workaholic in his mid-twenties who has no personal life to speak of. He's quiet, serious, astute, intensely analytical, and a good person to have on your side. His baseline for interactions is mild-mannered and sometimes even amiable, but depending on the scenario, his personality can be difficult... paranoid, callous, controlling, manipulative, and so on. There's plenty more about him in his app.

Contact: If you need to get ahold of me, I'm detectivefiction on Plurk, firm detective on AIM, and also easily reached via LJ messages to this journal ([livejournal.com profile] quarter_english). Feel free to say hi! I'm kind of shy but I always like meeting new people.

(Also, since I use this journal in a few games, here's an information post just for Animus. There's not much there yet--just collar and room stuff and a link to permissions--but I'll fill it in as appropriate.)
