SO. Those of you familiar with Naminé may be aware of her... rather distressing powers. For those of you that aren't, Naminé is capable of manipulating the memories of others; she can rearrange them, remove them, and even create entirely new memories of things that never happened. There are certain extensions of this, such as being able to create illusions that cause things to look and feel like other things. This can also be applied to people. The really dangerous part, however, is that she can also use her powers to 'smash' the hearts of others, essentially destroying their mind/guidance system and turning them into a vegetable. She can also create portals of darkness which essentially serve the purpose of allowing one to get from one place to another quickly.

The reason I'm bringing this up is the event. For this event, Naminé's color will be going -3 to green, which means her powers are going to be going haywire and affecting... pretty much anyone. As one might imagine, this could be the basis for plenty of shenanigans. I'm putting up a log for those who would like to play with this situation; posting to or interacting with Naminé is not necessary. Everyone is also welcome to have their character be affected in a log or post of their own. This is, of course, all totally optional. Go crazy!

I would be happy to answer any questions or do any plotting in this post.

Oh my GOSH PLEASE COME TO ME.

So, Nageki's had REALLY BAD AMNESIA BEFORE, like, so bad he seems to have (when you first meet him) barely been able to recall his own name and I took him from a canon point where he's regained his memories (finally), and spoilers.

But I would love to play with this; if you don't mind Hatoful spoilers, I am SO game. m0u0m

ALL RIGHT sooo I haven't played beyond KH1... just how bad would the memory manipulation be? As far as fake memories go, what's the extent of those?

Well, they actually... don't really ever discuss limits. (H-honestly they just keep giving her new stuff she can do.) The only thing that seems to cause her any trouble is that normally her powers only work on people connected to Sora. For the purposes of this event, that doesn't apply because, in addition to going haywire, her powers have been strengthened and such, so they'll effect anyone. In-game it seems like she tends to base fake memories on real things/people/situations, but that's probably more of a technique than a limit.

So, theoretically, for a duration of the event, if someone came into contact with Naminé who was especially susceptible... even after they parted ways their memories would probably remain altered?

/May or may not be thinking of how to use this ahahahahah

Lawl! Well, actually, they don't even have to come in contact with her. Her range appears to be several floors, at the very very least. It's probably actually a lot larger than that especially with the power boost uh uh. And yes, their memories could remain altered if you'd like it to be that way, or they could sort themselves out, or be repaired by another power surge before the end of the event. There are options. I'd be up for having Heine being messed with. He has plenty of demons, mistakes, and enemies to make it worthwhile and Naminé looks close to a character in DOGS that could create some major mind screws if you're up for it. On the other side, he can just lose it and randomly attack people by mistake.

Mistaken identity freakouts are okay with me. c: You're welcome to participate in other shenanigans/people attacking too/instead, if you want. I'm trying to keep this open for whatever anyone's purposes are. /o/

Great! He can't move much color wise, but with enough trauma on him can make for some results. Naminé should actually be fine from Heine other tan getting him to run away or freak out. She looks a lot like his dead sister, hence the similar looking character question.
