Hellooo, Animus~ I'm new here, my name is nubs, and I'm bringing you the dorkily sarcastic Alistair Theirin from Dragon Age: Origins.

He's a bastard. Of the royal kind, however, so he isn't about to go gallivanting his last name around. Otherwise he enjoys making (not so) smart comments and slaying monsters, saving people because it's the right thing to do, etc etc. And cheese. He loves cheese.

The fun thing about him though is that his world is... kind of in the Medieval ages (with magic!), so electricity and other such modern inventions will be completely new to him. Also, he speaks Fereldan, no matter how much you call it English. And Spanish to him would be Antivan. And French, Orlesian. Other things like that. He may call you Ser and not Sir but... Well, whatever.

Anyway, uhmm.... guess I'll get posting and such! I apologize in advance if I'm slow to tag, my internet likes dancing the "I love you/I love you not" dance during the day most of the time.

Oh! I forgot to mention! If your character does ~*~magic~*~ please tell me. Alistair can detect even small presences of it, cause of his templar training :|b

Oooh Dragon Age. My friends introduced it to me, but I have yet to play it. It seems interesting though!

You totally should! It's a long game, but the freedom is a lot of fun. Plus you get to hang out with guys like Alistair and Zevran. /swoon Don't get me started on how sexy his accent is. I play it for the plot, I swear.

Alistair certainly does. Zevran, who's from Antiva, has a Spanish accent. So if Fem!Spain has a Spanish accent, expect Alistair to insist she must be from Antiva.

I have this same problem. I bought Mass Effect on sale and I'd love to play Garrus but I'm like ".........I think I'll just go beat Dragon Age again instead of starting this new game."

I play Mary here- who is a normal girl most of the time as Mary Batson, but when she's in her ~Mary Marvel~ form she's pretty much pure magic. So feel free to have Alistair :|||| at her.

That's awesome! Alistair is going to have ALL THE FREAKOUTS when he starts sensing weird magic and is like "whaaaaaaat, you mean mages aren't all feared, how can this be??" Bonus points for being a girl, too. Alistair can't be mean to women except Morrigan, he's just too knightly for it.

Yo, welcome! I'm Wingus, and I play Shoutarou Hidari here. He's a Kamen Rider, so he can use stuff to turn into a superhero. I'm not sure if they count as magic or not since there's usually scientific hoo-ha behind it in-series, but if you wanna have Alistair think it's magic, that's cool. =0

I'm afraid it has to be physically magic for him to detect it. As much a she might think lightbulbs are magic, they wouldn't feel like it. Hence the confusion. But that's good to know!
