Hello, Animuses...Animi...Animusi?
Well, whatever you call yourselves, I am very happy to be able to join you! I'm Hicku, bringing in the fresh meat in the form of a this adorable witch here. This is Tara Maclay, of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Funny thing - she and your resident witch Willow used to date. But then they broke up, when Willow started abusing the magics. Tara found out, further found out that Willow had fucked with her mind, and that was that. Of course, love makes you do the wacky, so they had just decided to give it another go when a stray bullet from the leader of that season's team of Big Bads flew through the window and killed Willow on the spot.
...what, that's not how it actually went, you say? Well, that's news to Tara!
That's right, I'm bringing in Tara as an AU, where - long story short - Willow was killed at the end of "Seeing Red" instead of her. Tara handles things a mite differently than Willow did, but it still unhinged her and changed her a bit, and she's also starting to have to struggle to keep control of her magical abilities, much like Willow did. I have her actions worked out up until "Conversations with Dead People", a little way into Season 7, and that's where she's taken from, after Dawn successfully wards her off from sacrificing Andrew to supposedly close the Hellmouth. Spoiler alert, it wouldn't have closed the Hellmouth, and the First Evil is a lying liar who lies.
Tara has gone through a lot in her life - she's pretty wary around strangers or people in general. If you manage to make friends, though, there are few better at just offering a shoulder to cry on, some good advice, and a bit of help. She's a sweetie and heart who likes milkshakes and romance movies, but she's also had to put up with the incarnation of evil in Willow's body telling her how much she sucks for the last several weeks.
ANYWAY. Um. I think I've TL;DRed enough here. I'm afraid I don't currently have a plurk, but it seems to be a useful thing and I'll let people know when I get one. I'm going to be spending most of today doing the newbie dance, filling out permissions posts and contact info and the like, and I'll add my permissions post to the list once I get it written up. But, well, I'm super psyched to play with you all, and I hope I do well here! I want all the plots and all the CR! If I mess anything up or do something wrong, please, please let me know, but otherwise...come at me, bro!

I took Eleanor from the Best Ending.
But the Tower is really putting a nice big strain on the whole "kindness" thing.
