Event: Infighting; Sign Ups

The Tower shuts down for the month of June in a way it never has before--the clear-collared units seen throughout the Tower are gone, and with it all food in the cafeteria and restaurant. In fact, just about everything seems to have stopped working--there is no heating or cooling system available, dust and grime seems to pile up where normally it used to seem self-cleaning, and even collar checkups stop working, leaving characters who remain in the Tower feeling more and more lightheaded as June goes on, to the point of powers deactivating completely or going wildly out of control by the end of the month. Characters still revive if dead, but there's a delay of at least two days, and often they come back still bleeding and half-broken. It's as if no one is watching the Tower at all...

Because they're not. Slowly characters begin receiving short notes directing them to go to dorm level one, two, or three on the fourth. If they don't go on their own, it will quickly become apparent the retrieval units can still be sent out to gather people up. They are being separated into three groups, controlled by Dax, Riki, and Jason, and they will be taken elsewhere to play a game. Participation means being removed from the Tower until the end of the month. You will have until the fifth to sign up. Be warned that Jason's group may bring severe physical and mental trauma to your character more than the other two, followed by Riki. Dax's group will have the mildest level.

Once all selected characters are split into groups, they will be used to prove which one--Dax, Riki, or Jason--is the best at Tower control. Each group will be tended to by one and only one of the controllers; they will control their group however they see fit and compete with the other two groups. The entire operation will be overseen by Ruana, acting as judge for the competitions.

Dax favors a similar level of control as is exhibited in the Tower when it is at its most normal, Riki favors physics-shattering realities that weigh heavily on the sanity of those living within his walls, and Jason favors surgical experiments to enhance his group. Every week various tasks will be assigned; whichever group does worst at the tasks will have to eliminate one or more members of the group: they will vote for the death of one of their own members.

As for the Tower proper, well, there is one person left who can access the controls who isn't busy playing games...

Please fill out this form if you wish to sign up. Characters who do not sign up will remain in the Tower.

Haha, you already know that even though Fado's not much of a fighter, he's going to be sticking his nose in this bad Mafia business and trying to stop Ganondorf from taking over. If he does make him ~an offer~ though, he might....."help" Ganondorf while also quietly talking to other people that are still left in the tower and telling them that he's a crazy mofo and getting them on his side for when Ganondorf inevitably goes Triforce of Power villain on everybody.

So either way he's going to be all up in your business ruining your takeover plots.

Now Fado, ruining? Why when they could finally be rid of the bad guys once and for all. Better Ganondorf up there than Jason. Better be betrayed by an evil guy know know well than by some you don't know, right?

Seriously either way, I'm... CURIOUS on what Fado and Ganondorf working together would result in... That could give birth to some deadly result if it works well heh.

True, but he is also pretty keenly aware that the tower folks are probably nerfing Ganondorf's powers to some degree, and either way he's keeping at least a handful of heroes around to put you in your place.

Yeesss, I'm really excited to see how they'll work together and what'll happen. By their powers combined they will blow the top off this tower. /chinhands

Fado may want an aspirin when Ganon will have access to Demise's power, just saying.

YUPPERS. I mean, they work against each other usually, so if they unite for the greater good... Would be even more awesome if they could take control of the system even if only for a day.

Bahaha when Ganondorf has Demise's power is probably when he has to call in some favors. And/or probably die since he is but a squishy kokiri child.

Oh my god if this is at all remotely possible I would be so for it. They would probably get slapped with horrible grueling death but it would be so worth it.

Ganondorf may not want kill him until he has control of the tower. He'll probably wait till the very last moment even if he got Demise's powers.

Especially if we can have that awesome thing of them accessing the control room (I can dream, right?). I mean, they would have no idea what to do and Ruana would push the kill button sooner or latter, BUT-

And I can imagine Fado or some Links pushing buttons at random and worsening the situation.

Bahaha yes good Ganondorf, learn to behave. Although I guess this won't help his temper after the Triforce plot.

Well they apparently can make it as far as the control room so hopefully they can both set aside their assholery evilness/mistrust to AT LEAST AFFECT SOMETHING IN THE TOWER.

So MM!Link isn't allowed to press buttons ok ok</strike?

IT WON'T. The Demise Plot is probably gonna gain one more level in evil.

Well the way I see it- Fado will have told them about the kill button, so everyone in the control room will look for that first- Not to kill each other but to prevent Ruana & co to use it or find a way to disable it. Ganon's smart enough to realize Fado and the Links ain't the greatest threat atm so he'll put the mistrust in the back of the pocket.

IF THEY DO FIND THE KILL BUTTON THOUGH... Ganon may not feel safe to keep Fado around it.

Neither him, nor Roxas!
