Hey, everyone! Gamzee-mun here with just a little warning about a possible lull in tags for the coming week! I have friends visiting from out of town, and I'll be spending the majority of my time playing host to them and generally wreaking havoc all over the place.

Tags probably won't stop completely, because I love you guys too much! I just wanted to throw this up here in case I don't get as much time to respond as I'd originally anticipated. Give everyone a little heads up, you know?

Anyway, that's about it! Maybe I should just also add this while I'm here: I've been at Animus for almost a month now, and I want to thank all of you for such a warm reception! It really has been a pleasure getting to know and play with you all! To the people I've been able to thread with, I love every single one of you, and I hope we continue to do so! For everyone I haven't gotten to play with yet, I really, really hope we get to soon! Everyone here is so awesome. Thank you for making my first game such a blast!

So for this event I checked with the mods and they said the Shadow of Death, since it's still technically with Minami, can go haywire. Add in that at -3 to orange Minami is going to be very out of it mentally, she's not going to be able to control the thing at all.

For those who don't know the Shadow of Death in persona is a being meant to call Nyx to Earth so that Nyx can bring about the end of humanity. Death is inevitable and sees this as what humanity desires in the end, despite people arguing with it. In canon, the Shadow winds up leaving Minato and takes the form of a very flirty young man who believes himself to be human. Insert the usual spiel of what it means to be human or a monster and the inevitability of death for the rest of the game.

In Persona 3's AU1--AKA StregaVerse--Minami had only a piece of said shadow put in her, the other piece going to AU!'s Minato--henceforth referred to as Streganato for clarification from canon!Minato--though she got the larger piece. This was done because Minami was close to dying in the car accident and the person who put the shadow in her was trying to save her life. Despite this, Minami still almost died in the hospital, her injuries were that bad.

Since this is an AU and we haven't been able to decide what happens after the point the Stregaverse characters have been brought in, C and I decided to go "screw it! We'll do what we want for the sake of fun!" So instead of the Shadow of Death becoming a boy it's still with Minami at this point. Her piece, at least. And it is going to go haywire and rampage with a very out of it Minami in tow. It will look very much like her crapload of Persona are going nuts, but once the shadow is killed--or weakened enough--Minami is going to die. And not be revived until the 16th. Streganato's piece can potentially calm it down due to hers being incomplete, Minato's could potentially calm it due to being another full version of the Shadow, and Minami is going to be a headcase after this.

What I need from people is 1). Who would be interested in combating the shadow or interacting with Minami/the shadow during this? I'm currently leaning towards having Streganato take her out, but I would vastly prefer to see the inevitable log develop organically during the week. He and Canon!Minato (and hopefully some of the P4 cast?) will be able to play a role in this, but I'd like others in on it as well.

2). Any ideas on how to better implement this? My current idea is basically an amorphous shadow surrounding Minami and forcing her to fight that steadily takes a more concrete form, but I'm open to suggestions.

3). Anyone want to rack up their death count in a brutal way?

 So! Event shenanigans.

Eridan is gonna be losing control of his Time powers, and that usually ends up in one thing - well, to be honest, a pile of many things in this case - Doomed Selves.

Doomed Selves are basically what happens when he splits the timeline somehow and ends up creating an offshoot timeline in the process that deviates somehow from the Alpha. It's Complicated Time Shit, but it basically means it allows Eridan to have more than one of himself running around at the same time.

The catch, however, is that they're Doomed. All but the Alpha are destined to eventually die, and usually very shortly. What this means is that there's gonna be a couple dozen Eridans running around the Tower and all but one of them have to die. Insert your Highlander joke of choice here. And I think it'd be best if they all died before the event is over, too. So if you are in need of cannon fodder for fun, murder timez, or just like the color jade and feel like painting the walls with it, lemme know? For all there's gonna be several of them, they're all armless, weaponless and fairly squishy. They make good target practice.
