As Animus gets more and more players, we realized that instead of having a lot of OOC new player posts and making it harder to keep track of all of them, we could have everyone meet and greet each other in a single post and have a MASSIVE GREETING PARTY!

The rules are simple:

HELLO CLEVELAND, I mean Animus! I'm Liz and I'm really excited to be here! To start out, I'll be bringing in an AU version of Kairi from Kingdom Hearts where she's the Keybearer instead of Sora or Riku. More about her AU can be found here!

The following groups will find themselves waking up in a dorm room--but, as they'll quickly realize, not their own. There will be three (or perhaps four) others with them who aren't their usual roommates, and their trunks are either much emptier or not there at all. A note beside their beds reads "Escape. You have five days. If you do not escape, you will be killed. Good luck."

The groups will progress through five or six puzzle rooms--groups of four have five rooms, and groups of five have six rooms. They will have five days with which to do so. Groups with five are unlucky: they are expected to complete their first two puzzle rooms on the same day. After completing the task they will be presented with a rest room where they will remain until the next day when they will be sent off to complete their next puzzle room. If a group does not finish the room after one day has passed the room will slowly fill with poison gas: they will then have ten minutes to finish before they are killed (a retrieval unit will kill any remaining character who was immune to the poison gas).

OOC Rules
Each group will be provided with their own thread. The group (any member) will be expected to report completion time/puzzle solutions under the "PUZZLE ROOM REPORTS" subthread, in a reply to the puzzle room they are completing/solving. the rest can be used to coordinate and plot with the rest of the group.

While some puzzle rooms will not require and ooc problem solving, others will. In order to complete these rooms, the correct solution must be presented to the moderators under the puzzle room reports subthread. One hint may be requested OOCly; ICly the characters will receive no hints.

While ICly the characters are progressing through the puzzle rooms at a rate of one per day, OOCly you may unlock them more quickly once you decide with your group how long it will take to complete a room and solve any presented puzzles. The final room may not be unlocked until day three of the event, however.

So! As those of you who I've added in plurk already know, I'm getting married! This weekend, even! Of course that means I won't be around for a little while, so I'm calling full hiatus on my muses.

This will affect Jade!Eridan (chronomancer ), Eleanor (thebigsister ), Kafuka (theresnosuchthing ), Gimli (donttelltheelf ) and Jack (andajarofdirt ). All five of them will go take a hike in their destroyed worlds while I'm gone. So until I come back, all five of them are gone from the Tower.

Which brings me to my next point, when I'm coming back. Technically speaking, I'll be returning home from the honey moon sometime August 4th or 5th. Buuuut the next week is first week of fall term at the university I work for and my boss is usually nothing less than a headless chicken that week. Which probably means I'll be around running double time and trying to help him not implode under the stress, so I'll probably won't be around much - or at all - until at least the 12th or 13th. But at the latest, I should be back on the 15th.

I'll try to clear my inbox before radio silence comes on Thursday, but I can't make promises. If you need to get a hang of me, for any reason, drop me a PM in any of my character journals, or just poke me at faithbegetsfaith. Like I said, I'll be around til Thursday.

Hey guys, Beans here and just letting you all know that I will going on a slowatus for the rest of the week. I haven't been really in the mood to tag given that I have been house sitting with J-chan and rp has been a last priority.

So if I don't get to your tags for a few days don't be shocked! I am simply taking my time to respond to them since I don't want to rush the tags and deem myself ooc to some. Hopefully this won't turn into a into a hiatus before it needs to be....ANYWHORE. If backtagging is a problem let me know otherwise, thank you for your patience.
