Event: Trick or Treat; Part Two

As characters wake up on October 14th, anyone participating (who hasn't yet died) will find a new note on their plastic pumpkins:

Good job so far! Time to make things a little harder!

Anyone still alive in the trick or treat game who checks the candy in their pumpkins will find that, no matter how much extra they may have collected, they only have 25 pieces of candy in their pumpkins now. Candy in general is more difficult to find--if you don't want to steal from the other residents, you'll have to kill monsters and find prize pods to get a chance at a few pieces.

In total there are 5000 pieces of candy in the Tower, and this means it is impossible for everyone to survive this week. In total, at least forty-nine people must die between the 14th and the 20th.

To count toward the candy quota, the candy must be inside the plastic pumpkin and not consumed. Eating a piece of candy will temporarily revert the costume's tightness to normal for one hour, but after an hour it will revert back and tighten more to make up for the one hour lost (unless you meet the quota before then).

If your character dies of being crushed by their costume, post here.
So far, 50 characters have signed up to die this week. We have met our goal of 49 people. If, by the end of the week, we do not have enough, we may randomly approach players with characters remaining and request they have their character killed.

Is the 5000 pieces including those dropped by monsters or do monsters give out a few extra pieces?

Is it one piece of candy per monster or does the amount vary depending on size or difficulty?

Five thousand including those dropped by monsters. Amount of candy will vary, but is random (though never more than two or three pieces per monster, and occasionally none at all).

Just a clarification since it's come up with some of us while we're plotting - if someone in a warped costume were to die, would they still be warped upon being revived again?

Does the disappearance of any candy hoarded from last week only apply to those who are playing and had put it in their bucket or also non-players hoarding candy as well?

Non-players will (this week, at least) keep their hoarded candy.

Just to check, if someone dies during the event for a reason that isn't not having enough candy, they come back just as normal?

So if they got attacked by one of the people who had changed, but already had their candy for the day? Would they just return in costume and continue?

As long as they met their quota before they died (and no one takes their candy before they revive) they will return as normal in a normal costume and will have to continue gathering candy.

If a dying character who has failed to meet quota removes the candy from their pumpkin before they die, will it still disappear when they revive?

It will be wherever it was left unless someone takes it.

Can you volunteer your characters to get crushed? Because I know Cindy thinks this entire candy stuff is baloney.

Only characters who signed up for the event can be crushed as they're the ones who are tasked with collecting it.

How is immortality applied to this event? If they were killed by someone and not by the costume itself, would they still be warped upon revival(nor arrival derp) or would immortality rules be applied?

Immortality won't apply if they're crushed by their costume as a result of not meeting the quota. It will apply if it's someone else killing them and they have the required amount of candy.

Does someone warped into their monster form still need to eat/sleep/etc?

Not unless otherwise noted (such as in the case of vampires or zombies).
