this is me asking for permission to spam your mailboxes
For those who don't know, John here prides himself as being both a cunning prankster and a witty comedian. In reality, he's kind of hit and miss in both areas. In any case, since shit just kind of really hit the fan and he's pretty sure it's only going to get worse from here, he's decided to do something silly to try and keep people smiling/keep their spirits up. Either this weekend or early next week, he's going to start leaving anonymous jokes/encouraging notes in people's mailboxes. Because if nothing else, this will at least get you to smile for a couple of seconds and maybe laugh if he's really lucky.
There are a couple of issues with this though. First, since the notes are anonymous (he'll be dropping his signature blue pen and disguising his handwriting as best he can), the ability to respond to them is going to be pretty much limited to the characters who know John well enough to recognize the content/writing style. So this makes makes the whole thing kind of pointless for people on the receiving end. And secondly: this is incredibly silly. Now, I like silly; I wouldn't play a character like John if I didn't like humorously dumb things. But this is a serious game and I know there are people who prefer to keep it that way.
So if you DON'T want your character to be hit at all ever (because I would like to makes this a semi-regular-yet-totally-random-thing), just let me know here. I won't be at all offended, I promise. If the opposite is true and for some reason you REALLY REALLY want a note full of naive optimism and a dumb joke, then you can let me know here too. I will also not be offended by this. If you don't care either way, you can remain silent and when I bust out my highly advanced selection system (I'm going to close my eyes... and when I open them the first name I see on the mailbox list is getting a note), maybe you will get hit. Or maybe you won't. It will be a mystery and once again: I will not be offended.
As for his close CR, you don't have a choice in the matter, so you also don't have to say anything. In fact, he's probably going to hit you first. (I'm sorry if you are offended)

Raphael is bad with jokes and sarcasm sometimes though, so that might make this more interesting.

So I will make a note to get Lambda in this first round then, definitely.

Xion'll probably appreciate it more than she lets on and try to find out who it is so she can thank them, though I'm not sure how hard she'll try (i.e. I doubt she'll stalk the mailboxes or anything)
