animus_ooc | We're getting WHAT?!

So, time for a hiatus announcement! You guys ready? Are you? I don't think you're ready.

So, obviously, this affects me, your friendly neighborhood [OU] Yosuke Hanamura and [OU] Frederick. It also affects someone else! Our very own Chris, who plays [OU] Naoto Shirogane, [OU] Czeslaw Meyer, and [OU] Soul Eater Evans.

What's happening, you ask? Something a little like this (and a big thank you to Wingus for the commission!).

So, yeah! In case you didn't get the hint, she and I? TOTALLY GETTING MARRIED! On August 17th no less! This puts us out of commission for the entirety of August, just to be on the safe side. If you need us for something super important you can drop us a line and we may be able to help, but we don't want to count on it.

Now, that said, there's something else here that needs to be addressed. It's the little matter of how this wedding came to be. See, both Chris and I originally met at another game captained by our fantastic head mod Mel - a little game some of you may recalled called The Dollsy House. Suffice it to say, without awesome communities like this, and without Mel in particular, August 17th would just be like any other day for us.

So the both of us would like to take this time to offer our sincere thanks, first to Mel herself. Mel, your creativity, spirit and love of abject horror created a place that brought us together. For that, I can never thank you enough. I'd also like to thank any of my fellows here from Dollsy - it's been a fantastic ride. But I'd also like to thank the game as a whole, and all those who help to foster fantastic spirits of community in big games like these. Without that spirit there'd be no incentive to even make these games, and then where would we be?

Anywho! That's pretty much all I've got. You can always reach the two of us by any of the usual means (AIM, Plurk, E-Mail, PM, etc) if you need anything, but expect us to be scarce!

Mio if I took the time to lavish the praise on you that you deserve this post would've lasted forever.

Well, I suppose that is true.

But why didn't you write my hiatus notice for me too!? It's because you know I'm coming to steal your fiancee, isn't it!?

I - I wasn't sure you were going on hiatus! I thought you might continue to do things!

You should have known that I wouldn't have wanted to be left out of the Wedding Hiatus Club! Or at least asked me...

But yes, I actually am joining you two in hiatusing for August! I'll probably be around some, but I'm going to have to pick and choose what I want to focus on this month.
