HEY EVERYBODY, I thought, what with some of the craziness that will be happening as characters prepare to fight Jason himself, it might be a good idea to have a sort of plotting post for the preparations. And perhaps later, as we get more info, about the fight itself. And since plurk can be a bit unreliable in its ability to reach everyone, I thought a post would be more helpful.

Particularly, this was meant to be aimed at things that might affect several tower residents as a whole, such as the distribution of supplies and the shoring up defenses in certain locations (*coughFloor23cough*). However, personal plotting is perfectly welcome too!

So just... post whatever you want to work out in regards to the event here.

Things to keep in mind:

• Collar checkups will be starting on the 16th!
  
• This includes the testing of all characters switching over to the modified fluid and resulting loss of powers Orange-collared residents don't have much in the way of powers, so this side effect may not be realized until some later residents have the new fluid tested on them!
  
• All characters with retrieval units following them should note that those units have disappeared!
  
• There is no power in the Tower right now and no network, though the glamour is still mostly working
  
• The rift on Floor 23 is very small right now, no bigger than a finger or later, a hand. Mods have confirmed that any attempts to stick fingers or hands through will likely result in losing said fingers/hands.
  
• I'll add more as I think of them
  
• There is a very small chance Jason could be killed in this event, though it will extremely difficult (serious injury is a serious possibility however). If this were to happen Mel has confirmed there will be another method of revival available to characters. It would just be slower and less pleasant. So you can attempt to kill the admin in good conscience that you won't be breaking the game

Furthermore, I want to add if people want to change when they're going to test the new fluid in light of the event that that is totally fine. The whole sign up post is for recordkeeping purposes and not set in stone. I saw some people on plurk who were concerned and thought I'd clarify that here.

CLOTHING DISTRIBUTION + Sharing Jason's appearance + Transportation

Xion's going to be helping Reno as a part of Ragnarok's efforts, but more notably to you all, she's also going to be gathering up the clothing supplies that her group has been working on and taking them to floors like the Cafeteria and perhaps Floor 23 - anywhere where people seem to be gathering a lot - to distribute it.

If you want to say that your character got clothes from her, feel free to handwave that having happened, though if there's enough interest I can put up a post too.

Things to keep in mind regarding clothing:

• Tower fabric isn't fantastic - It's not going to solve any warmth issues by itself. It'll be good if you only have like a t-shirt or tank top to get a long-sleeved shirt/sweater though.
  
• Supplies are very limited - Characters - unless they can make a pretty solid case to Xion - will likely not be able to get more than one or two pieces of clothing from Xion, in order to make sure it can be distributed to as much of the Tower populace as possible.
  
• Clothing may be flawed - Most of the people making clothing are amateurs/inexperienced, so there may be some mis-sized pieces of clothing, uneven stitching, etc.

Just overall, the clothing is going to help the lack of heating issue. It will not solve it. So please be careful to not abuse this!

EVERYBODY INVOLVED IN CLOTHING MAKING please reply to this with the kind of clothing your character has been working on, so we can get a good idea of what's available!

IN ADDITION. When Xion is handing out clothing, she will also have the picture of Jason's true appearance. She will show it to anybody who asks, and will be willing to talk about - as much as she can - her experience facing him sans glamour (note that this does not include the vivisection. That topic is strictly off-limits).

So if you need or want your character to find out about that, feel free to handwave this as well, unless you're interested!

Finally, Xion can use Darkness corridors to help transport people and things quickly between floors, so long as powers are not disabled. She will be wary of transporting people unless it's an emergency, as it's considered dangerous. However she can be convinced, so please talk to me if you think your character might want to make use of this!

She would also function as a pretty effective messenger between floors, though the Turks/Ragnarok will get dibs on her services, as she's a member of that.

Xion has been working on some more complex pieces of clothing, maybe a couple mittens. But mostly she's been working on sweaters and pants since she figures people will need those most.

Edit: ALSO since I can't edit the above, some clothing will be available in leather and fur, which will be a bit warmer, but not a lot. Like, maybe a fourth of all the clothes made by the group currently, absolute tops.

Taiki is distributing clothes! Mostly socks and gloves that he has made though he will probably be handing out some of Enoch's cloaks as well in Kirin form

Lightning is going to traveling around the Tower while the surveillance is down, cutting down monsters for their weapons (also meat and skins to be tanned and used for warmth) and handing them to those who don't have one. In her mindset, actions like this equate to war and they have one main target: Jason. Thus the more people with weapons, the better. Especially with potential side effects of the new collar fluid.

I will post an entry for this soon, along with her setting up camp on the staircase landing of Floor 23.

As for Ira/OU!Repliku, he is taking care of his job on the doll floor until the retrieval unit following him hightails it out of there. When this happens he'll likely seek out his acquaintances then get a real weapon.

I MEAN as you may know or not, the possibility to grievously harm Jason will present itself at some point during the event. I asked, and it's theoretically possible to kill him. However, it'd be extremely difficult and next to impossible. But the chance exist! And you know what? Ganondorf is not going to miss it.

So basically Ganondorf is gonna make a call to gather everyone willing to kick some administrative ass, no matter what the characters affiliation generally are. If it succeeds? Well, there'll probably be some heavy consequences for everyone involved, but what is life without a healthy dose of risk? It's the golden ocasion to get rid of the evil administrator. And Ganondorf may even die for real if Jason dies, so that's a double Christmas present for the tower.

I have no idea how or when the ocasion to punch Jason will present itself or what the characters are going to have and do to have a chance, but basically if anyone is interested! Ganondorf will be making his call to organize and prepare a plan to ambush Jason tomorrow, probably through anonymous letters and stuff.

Throughout the event, Veronica is going to be helping out around the tower. She'll do her job of course, but for the most part she'll be out and about, helping around and hunting monsters to protect the residents and gather weapons.

If you want her to help with something, just say so and she'll be there.

Rick puts on his judgement face when Veronica signs up for Jasonbusters, but until then he'll be keeping a close eye and might try to teach her how to sew, so she can help and won't get herself killed.

Not that she'll be restricted all activities or anything; by the 19th, he'll offer himself to SCIENCE and have his abilities taken away, so he'll be kind of miserable and won't be up to doing much. But until then, sewing? Eh? Eh??

Like Lightning, AU!Riku will be delivering weapons he's farmed from monsters. He may even join in with the others hunting, as numbers make for better odds against the higher level beasts in the tower.

He is also likely to participate with the Jason busters because he has been waiting for this. Oh, how he's waited.

Real Weapons Hand Out

Being prepared finally pays off!

(Because did anyone doubt Diarmuid was a Boy Scout? And not even all that deep down. LOL)

Ever since shortly after the big infiltration when it came out that monster weapons were real, Diarmuid has been collecting and hiding 'caches' of them as I know others have been. Over the last month or so, he has really started trying to get those weapons out to people. If he has talked to your character about getting them real weapons, it is safe to assume he has already done so as long as the character's weapon of choice is something pretty traditional--spear, sword, knife etc. (Sorry modern weapon users, he is no help to you here.)

Anyone else who is connected to him via his own group of CR, the Turks/Ragnarok, or the few Pandora contacts he has left are welcome to come and get a weapon from him. When he's not helping explore etc, he will be in the same general area as Xion is doing her clothing hand outs in. Feel free to handwave picking up a weapon if you wish, just keep in mind that supplies are limited because even a Servant can only fight so many orcs at once!

While Diarmuid has been checking his caches regularly during glamour flickers to make sure they are still real, if someone wants to get a 'fake' real weapon, that is totally up to them. No system is perfect, after all, and the flickers are not something that happen predictably!

While powers are active, Diarmuid also will be available for transport (yay super speed!) and message delivery should he be needed. Just keep in mind, transporting a person would mean being carried. (Have fun with that. :-) )

Finally, while the Network is down, just a reminder that there are hard copies of Diarmuid's Tower Guide out for people to pick up in places like the cafeteria and library. These copies are very limited (think maybe 1-2 in an area), but do contain some old maps of Tower floors thanks to Saber's past efforts. As mentioned, though, the maps are old and will not contain any newer information, discoveries, or changes.

[OU] Sephiroth has been waiting forever for an opportunity like this.

He's not really anything to do with great clothing and/or weapon collection as he generally doesn't care about any of you (and Diarmuid :|). Though perhaps in the run-up to the Jason buster group a day/night (what difference it makes with the power off) Orc hunt could be a thing? Since we're all going to be in need of real weapons/armor to stand any chance of taking Jason down. Sephiroth is an avid monster-hunter and the power being off just gives him more of an excuse, plus the fact he'll need it for blowing off steam after the months of putting up with all the science.

He'll not be going in for the collar-fluid testing until after 30th, as he's much more interested in seeing what happens to everyone else first and it'll be too late by the time he starts to see results in other Violets (he doesn't care about the rest of you orz) - but any great powers he does see during this Event is just going to help convince him that going forward for the swap needs to be done. Can't blame a guy for wanting to know all the facts first - on that note I'd like someone for him to monitor the progression of real powers in, if there is anyone that would like to do this? Preferably a Violet as he's only interested in this color though. Doesn't have to be particularly close CR to Sephiroth either, being as he was/is the Violet science team leader still and will see this as an extension of the work he's already done.

Is it possible for someone else to try to get everyone set on killing to ..possibly pump the bastard for information first? Anything and everything they can learn will likely be invaluable, and if Jason dies that info dies with him. Steal stuff, torture info out of him, whatever. I have this sneaking feeling if an effort isn't made to try to get some of his knowledges that somehow it'll bite us in the butt later.

If you would like either food that isn't nutrition bars, or weapons that aren't film, Aleph will be distributing some to people who need it. Zett will mostly be working on the art part of the heroes book during this time, though he'll occasionally be hunting down food as well. But mostly working on the art means stalking people who were namedropped as heroes - if you were mentioned as a hero, you might get a young boy trying to be unobtrusive while following you around and sketching your picture. If you especially want him to follow you around give me a ring and we can have a thread.

Mitch here is going to be keeping a keen eye on the rift, studying it and attempting to use magic as well. With his focus being to either stop the growth, or prepare to face off against whatever is inside of it. Would love to have someone there with him or to plot something out.

Turks/Ragnarok

Things should be fairly organized for the Ragnarok folks. I posted this in plurk but for the benefit of people I don't have on my timeline!

By tomorrow, since threads are still going on, it should be safe to assume:

> Ragnarok and its allies should be outfitted with warm clothing (leather items are available)
> Real weapons have been passed out
> All members should have been debriefed and the conditions around the Tower shared.
> Word should be out that Aria is considered an ally, and no harm should come to her/possibly be protected.
> Alternatively, Reno wants the team to keep an eye on her because he doesn't trust her motives for helping them.
> If you can be considered one of their allies feel free to jump into their activities.
> This is a great opportunity to recruit for the team because of the administrator's lack of spying access so if you wish your character added to the ranks they can do it on the fly!
> Reno may finally tell the team things he's only hinted at before, like purposely recruiting people for a major resistance effort.

Other than that, for future stuff! When or if they get to distract and stall Jason, Reno will probably send them in their team units and take up positions around the Tower. Reno will give orders that if it's possible, Jason is to be taken alive and incapacitated instead of killed since they may actually need him. I suspect a firm plan won't be possible until we get the Part 2 post tomorrow.

Reno himself will be keeping tabs on everybody, checking in with the groups, helping out where it's needed and just trying to be everywhere at once.

for once, Aqua's going to hang back - do what she can about the clothing and supply situation, and in a worst case scenario, potentially help any wounded coming back from the Jason confrontation?

Bitties and other things

Romeo is currently rallying the bitties, once they are together he will probably focus on foraging food for everyone, and making sure that all the bitties are aware of all the differing things, sharing resources etc.

Even if your character isn't part of the group if they are under 14 (or look so) they will be approached, so opportunity for recruitment!

Otherwise

Taiki Is helping in distributing clothing, he will be in Kirin form, he makes a good messenger as he can phase through solid material, fly and go really fast, so if anyone needs him for this let me know!

Nesir will be probably causing some chaos/joining with Ganondorf

Suzaku Has real weapons to hand out and is pretty much in self destruct mode so if you need anyone to stick hands into tears in reality, he's your kid

Shion Is with the Turks, so being useful over there once I figure out what hes doing specifically

Capell and Sam Will be trying to help those they know and Capell in particular will be investigating things

GROUP COORDINATION THREAD

This isn't really for my characters, but for the three main groups--the Jasonbusters, Pandora, and the Turks to hash out plans and coordinate the actions of their groups

Out of the three, Pandora is probably the least concerned with confronting Jason directly. They're more worried about Aria and Zo, and as such will likely be looking for other methods to 'keep Jason occupied' when inevitably Shit Goes Down. What these other methods are, exactly, will depend upon the course of the event, obviously, but some examples might be holding down the fort for the injured/non-fighters in the infirmary when Shit Goes Down, being let loose like rats in a maze should the admin levels become accessible, or guarding Zo.

No plans set in stone yet, however, since who knows what will happen at this point.
