The evening of the 20th, Aria will address all characters that have gathered on the hidden floor under the instructions of the chipped-collar units.

"Thanks to everyone who came. We don't have a lot of time, so I'll try to explain quickly!

I think most of you saw that Jason is in the labyrinth now. Ruana wants him dead--and, well, I think a lot of you guys probably do too? He's strong, so the people in the maze might need some help. Especially because Ruana is so mad. I don't think anyone down there is safe, even if they manage to defeat Jason. That's why I asked you all to help.

This will be dangerous, but we'll try to help you as much as we can. If you find someone who's too hurt to fight, bring them straight to the access point and we'll take care of them! Whatever happens down there, if you guys do kill Jason, you're going to have to get out quickly."

A little after midnight on Friday, characters who reported to the meeting on time will be brought down to the labyrinth via a retrieval unit elevator that opens up into the very center of the labyrinth. From that point the elevator will close and lock, but it will open to any resident who was brought down and presses a hand to the door. It will not open for the predators or prey, and it will not open for Jason--though he seems unaware that it's there at all for now.

As for Jason himself, the fighting involving him will take place in a log here. In order to speed things along, everyone is allowed to make their own individual or small group threads for fighting them rather than having to post in one especially long thread. The main post will be used for fighting Jason, but there will be a subthread for activities in the labyrinth that do not involve fighting Jason.

The person who will strike the final blow on Jason will be randomly selected out of the people who have replied to fight Jason by 11AM EST Saturday morning and PMed about their selection. This is the fairest way to allow everyone to have an opportunity to strike the killing blow and also will allow everyone to know the conclusion even if backtagging is necessary to actually reach it. If you would like to opt out of having your character be the one to kill Jason, reply to this comment to let us know.

Xion is going to primarily be focusing on getting people out of there, and won't be seeking Jason out himself. However, if (read: when because mun executive decision) she runs across him, she will not hesitate to attack. Even with powers not working and only enough energy to run at half-steam. Yep.

Additionally she will not have much patience at all for any of the people who are trying to go for the peaceful/diplomatic approach with Jason.

So, anybody up for some plotting?

David's primary goal is to try and get as many of the "contestants" out of the labyrinth as possible, even in light of Jason being made the golden snitch. Anyone he comes across he'll try to convince to follow him back to the elevator. Especially if they're one of the "prey."

If he encounters Jason I don't expect it to end well, but I don't mind the chance of it happening. He accepted the risk coming down here, especially without his powers to help him.

Alternatively, if you're planning to fight Jason and you want David to crash the party, or you'd like to plot an encounter with David, I'm open!

Enoch's prompt here pretty much sums up everything he's going after. Rescuing and bandaging people up are his top priorities, and Jason is such a non-priority it's almost a joke. He feels guilty about killing the standard faceless enemies in his canon, okay? Killing's not his thing, not unless he absolutely has to.

But there's plenty to be had in healing and evacuation alone, and hey. I'm pretty much open to playing with just about everything here. If you want your character to drag him into a Jason fight, let me know! (he'll try to break it up in the interest of finding people to evacuate, for the record)

Just as a heads-up, this is being written at 'way too early' o'clock, so apologies for any typos or things that don't make sense.

First off: Yukiko's going to be looking for her close CR first and trying to get them out of there. If she happens to run across anyone else who's hurt, though, she won't hesitate to tell them what's going on, get them healed up, and make sure they get out, though.

She's in the 'my real powers are still kind of wonky but mostly under my control' stage of getting them back, so she's fine with tossing a healing spell or two. Also, there's still a chance she'll blip into the void here and there, oops.

Second: I am more than fine with having her run into Jason. She's had an Agidyne saved for his face for ages now, and since it's mentioned upthread that he's more vulnerable to real powers than glamour powers? If they figure that out ICly, she's going to be all in. Either way, I want her to run into Jason somehow. |D

So, Riku will be sticking close with Sora and Xion at the start of things and his secondary objective to getting people out is definitely to make sure that they make it out without getting hurt as well.

However I'm considering to have him split at some point to go after Jason, since he's pretty much the biggest threat to all of them right now and there's nothing wrong with being proactive on this.

Also, his powers - while mostly under control - are still kind of wonky and he might accidentally upgrade into Ansem!ku at some point. Still, while his powers work, he can help out with healing spells. And/or Sleep spells if anyone is feeling like arguing about getting out.

Sam is wanting to try and rescue as many non combatants as possible, so any injured/ children/others who don't want to/can't fight he will try and help escape.

He will also be going after Jason, probably trying to team up with people and help them fight him rather than trying to do it alone.
