As Animus gets more and more players, we realized that instead of having a lot of OOC new player posts and making it harder to keep track of all of them, we could have everyone meet and greet each other in a single post and have a MASSIVE GREETING PARTY!

The rules are simple:
- Anyone with an accepted character this round starts a new thread greeting themselves & their new character(s)
- Everyone else replies about how they are excited for these characters
- PROFIT

Hi everyone! This is Fox, player of Kariya Matou (

vermicompost) and Tiny Sephiroth (

pinnaculum), bringing in a new character, Phoenix Wright, one of the protagonists from the Ace Attorney series of games.

He's a scruffy ex-lawyer and current piano/poker player who is a very nice guy, he can just be ... eccentric. He's great at cards and terrible at playing piano, and his interests include being a dad, grape juice, bothering attorneys, and justice. He often gets into trouble, but somehow he always manages to get out of it again. Not that he's ever been in trouble quite like this before. At his current canon point, he's considering retaking the bar and becoming a lawyer again. (Spoilers: he will.)

He's staying in room 4-20, and his collar color is orange.

Oh hey another character of yours I need to bother with Ken. He wants to be a lawyer when he grows up and he could probably use some dading.

Ooh, excellent. I approve of any and all bothering.

And I would love this! Phoenix as a father figure is a weakness of mine, I confess, which is part of the reason I like to play him at this canon point. He has lots of advice about being a lawyer, too, like all the things not to do.

Step 1: Don't be Payne
Step 2: Don't be a von Karma or related to one
Step 3: Have a gimick
Step 4: Profit?

... Actually it occurs to me now that I have an empty character slot... and a Klavier muse...

This is all good advice. Also, try to avoid tasers and don't run over any burning bridges. Watch out for mysterious pieces of evidence that show up out of nowhere.

...of course, this advice is all basic common sense, but he had to do things the hard way.

Haha, I used to play Klavier when AJ first came out... I wrote a bunch of Klavier fic for the old kink meme too. I haven't played him in a bit so I'd have to canon review, but he's fun. |D

I fully support a Klavier.

Phoenix has found that way too many people don't get the whole "don't murder people" thing. It's a shame.

Oh, awesome. I would love it if you apped Klavier here. I adore him. And I've always thought interactions between him and Phoenix would be a lot of fun.
