Plotting Post | Event: If You Don't

Hey guys, 

I know we've just had the CR meme but since the Event Start/Part One post has gone up as well I thought it might be neat to have an ooc-plotting post to cover the Candy-hunting week- we're certainly not all on Plurk, or at the same time in a lot of cases after all! 

So...post with info's pertaining to what your character(s) is/are doing with regard to the Candy Hunt! Where are they looking, who with and how far will they go to fill, and protect their immovable bowls of candy? Stealing others' stashes? Making sure their friends have an ample stash of candy available as well? Trying to stubbornly abstain and then dealing with the increasing paranoia? Anything!  

Tag around and generally plot all the shenanigans!

Anyone want fake candies?

Ganondorf is going to spread fake candies around the tower.
From the mods: "Anyone opting in to this may be given fake candies in their gathering results starting on the 21st as well, so keep that in mind!".
So at your own risks if you opt in for that.

Starting on the 21st, Ganondorf will be hiding fake candies in spots where real candies could be found-- And they'll be absolutely indistinguishable from real candies. Why you say? Because last year there were less and less candies toward the end, so he's decided to trick all potential rivals before anything drastic happens.

He will also be stealing legit candies from the plastic bowls in the rooms, only to replace them with fake candies. There is a way to see they're fake, however: during glamour glitches, true candy will still look like candy. Ganondorf's candies however should look like film-fabrication. Unless something happens, nobody should know he's the one behind fake candies and he'll at the very least avoid tricking his allies from the evil alliance.

So if anyone wants to plot something with that, hit me up o/


Also, Ganondorf is gonna go look for candies, and on some of the more dangerous floors as well since he can deal with what dangers are thrown at them. He does it all alone, but if someone wants to stick with him for exploring a floor, he won't object to it as long as they're not an enemy and as long as they're respectful.

So again if some characters wanna collect candies with ganon, just tell me!

I'd be really surprised if Rick didn't find some of these fake candies with how thoroughly he'll be searching, so definitely opting in here! As for replacing the candy he's already gathered, he wouldn't notice unless he caught Ganondorf in the act--also possible by the last few days (or whenever Rick is no longer able to search), since he'll become paranoid enough that he'll just stay in his room and guard what he's gathered at that point. Is this something Ganon would try to do, or would he find less vigilant prey?

And well, Ganon would try if he thought he had a chance of success / if eh could distract him for a few minutes. Basically, he would not change all the candies. He would change most of the candies of course, but leave some legit candies on top of the fakes, so if the glamour glitch it still looks. Alright.

So really it all depends on whether or not Ricky could be distracted or not. If not, Ganon will just go for another room.

I think I should also bring your attention to this question I asked with regards to candy not being in the bowl.

As it might be quite hilarious for people to get more paranoid even though it appears they've got candy already.

I'll opt-in Sephiroth for the fake candies as well, as I'm terrible and it will be fun when he gets to the point of casually hunting to try and get rid of the distracting urges to find Candy. Though Ganon he's not going to be impressed if he finds out you're behind this!

Given Sephiroth wouldn't be one of Ganondorf's target, the candies he'll find will be totally... Accidental... He aimed to fool the idiots in the tower he didn't think this'd include you!

At the very least Sephiroth will notice the difference between real and fake candies when the Glamour glitches and just go and find someone else's bowl to switch them into. Or perhaps just leave them around in the Dormitory hallways himself for others to pick up.

Yes of course, Nesir can be Ganon Claus Ganondorf's elf assistant in spreading the fake candies all around the tower.

So I'll opt into this. Since Veronica will be searching pretty thoroughly, as well as going through the dangerous floors, she'll most likely find some of the fake candies. If she can't find any distinguishable differences from the real candies -taste, smell, etc- she'll take them back to her bowl. If she does, she'll probably destroy them.

As for him stealing from her bowl. Veronica is pretty vigilant, when she's not searching for candy, she'll probably be guarding the bowl. She will take breaks and go do other things at first, but she'll grow increasingly paranoid as the week goes on.

Alrighty! As said above, there shouldn't be any differences she can notice through her senses, though if she happens to look at them when the glamour glitches, it'll be very obvious they're fake since Ganondorf had to use his powers and materials (so, film) to make them.

No worries, him stealing is a pretty rare stuff in the first place so he won't get anywhere close to her bowl!

As for candy stealing, well. Maybe on the final day Ganon could try and take some of Zelos's candies. he would do it only if he was certain to be unnoticed, however.
